About the Guitar Teacher
My name is Shara Madsen-Mendoza. I used to own the Madsen Music School in Vernon. I have been teaching guitar full-time for over 12 years. I have recently moved to Kelowna and set up a guitar studio here.
My studio is a walk-in lower level of my home. It has a large waiting room, and separate classroom.
I teach most ages, levels and styles. I am very fun, positive and patient. I like to teach students using songs that they like to listen to. I believe in positive reinforcement for kids with fun stickers and lots of praise. Whether you like metal, pop, rock, country, classical, blues or anything in between, I can teach you what you'd like to learn.
